Herkimer County Community College
New programs and expanded facilities await those attending Herkimer County Community College. The College has completed a 9.1 million dollar facilities expansion which features expanded student service offices, a remodeled full service dining area, an updated student lounge and the state¨of-the-art Hummel Corporate and Professional Education Center. The Center features multi-faceted meeting rooms, complete teleconferencing capabilities, a computer training lab and a 1 30 seat amphitheater with Internet connections at each seat.

The Physical Education building has a second gym with an indoor running track, aerobics rooms and larger fitness center.

Added to the College's extensive academic lineup are Forensic Investigations, Construction Management, Teaching Assistant, Electroplating Technology, Computer Network Technician, International Business and Emergency Medical Technician. They join other popular programs such as Travel and Tourism, Criminal Justice, Radio-Television Broadcasting, Business, Fashion Buying and Merchandising and Physical Therapist Assistant. The Radio-TV has mobile production unit and airs programming on HCTV. through Time Warner Cable. The College's radio station, WVHC 91.5 FM broadcasts on campus and into the community.

HCCC offers more than 35 degree programs, four certificate programs and many opportunities to continue your studies at four year institutions.

A two year unit of the State University of New York, HCCC's enrollment is about 2,500 full and part time students. More than half of our students come to HCCC to study from outside of Herkimer County, including a growing number from around the world.

In addition to academics, HCCC offers a lively campus life with students participating in a variety of campus clubs and athletics. The college has won national championships in field hockey, men's lacrosse, Nordic skiing and men's soccer.
