Leadership Mohawk Valley Executive Director Receives National Award
Ann Rushlo honored by Association of Leadership Professionals
Ann Rushlo of Rome, executive director of Leadership Mohawk Valley (LMV), received the 2011 Preceptor Award at the annual Association of Leadership Professionals recently in Dallas, Texas.
The award recognizes "outstanding communication skills, creativity, trusteeship, ethics, mentoring, and dedication to the concept of strengthening and transforming communities." Rushlo was nominated by Peter Perkins, president of LMV's board of directors.
Rushlo is a member and past chair of the Rome Area Chamber of Commerce board. Prior to joining SUNYIT as a program coordinator in continuing and professional education, she held several positions at HSBC including assistant vice president and retail mortgage sales manager.
The Association of Leadership Professionals is a national, professional, not-for-profit organization whose mission is to "advance the effectiveness of leadership professionals by recognizing excellence, fostering innovation, sharing best practices, and building a national network."
